Dr. Ronald Vittone was a pioneer in performing small incision/no-stitch cataract surgery, considered the most advanced cataract surgical procedure available today. After becoming one of the first twenty physicians in the United States to perform this technique, Dr. Ronald Vittone has performed over 40,000 cataract operations, making him one of the most experienced ophthalmologists in the United States.
Dr. Ronald Vittone is a respected national and international research consultant. He has conducted research for seven prominent American intraocular lens implant manufacturing companies, a Swedish company specializing in ocular drugs and a Canadian company manufacturing eye surgical instruments. Dr. Ronald Vittone continues to be an active research consultant helping to bring patients the most advanced technology available anywhere in the world.

Dr. Daniel Vittone specializes in the latest refractive procedures to treat farsightedness, nearsightedness, and astigmatism. He has performed over 10,000 lasik surgery procedures. He also most recently started performing intraocular lens implants after cataract removal for correction of presbyopia (age-related progressive loss of the focusing power of the lens of the eye) and astigmatism (a condition in which part of a visual image is blurred due to uneven curvature of the cornea of the eye).
Dr. Daniel Vittone also specializes in the laser treatment of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, as well as, the medical evaluation of retinal disease and macular degeneration. Dr. Daniel Vittone was selected in 1996 to travel to Shanghai, China to be an instructor for other ophthalmologists.
Dr. Michael A. Vittone joined the practice in July 2006, after completing an ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Center. This is his second successfully completed residency, the first being an internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He is board certified in ophthalmology and internal medicine. He has had intensive training in macular degeneration treatment, diabetic retinopathy treatment and therapies, and the latest non-stitch cataract surgery. He performs the newest treatments for aged macular degeneration (Lucentis and Avastin injections) in the office setting.
